Wellness and Vaccination ProgramsOne of the most important parts of keeping your pet healthy is the annual physical and dental examination. A thorough general physical examination by a veterinarian can often pick up early signs of disease, even if you think your pet is well. The veterinarian uses his or her senses of sight, touch, smell and hearing to pick up any changes from normal. Often this exam can be done quickly but still thoroughly.
Another component of the annual visit is the risk assessment for your pet and what vaccinations and other preventive measures it may need. We try to keep ahead of the latest research on the value of each vaccine and which animals should receive what. We will discuss with you what vaccines we feel your pet needs and mutually decide what to give and when to give it.
