in House Laboratory Services

We have a state of the art wet chemistry laboratory machine. Wet chemistry is more accurate than the more common dry chemistry machines. We also run controls on our machinery often in order to ensure that our results are accurate. Having an in-house laboratory allows us to make a diagnosis quickly and make changes in treatments as often as we need to, without having to wait for blood to be sent out of town.
In the clinic we perform the following laboratory services:

Blood profiles and chemistries
Blood electrolytes
Complete Blood counts and differentials on the white blood cells
Blood smear assessments
Urinalysis and urine sediment analysis, including an accurate pH reading on a meter
Fecal floatation and smears looking for parasites
Gram stains looking at type of bacteria and yeast
Skin scraping analysis
Cytology which is the science of looking at cells and diagnosing disease
