Carol Hazen
Carol joined our practice in 1994. She has 3 children, 2 cats and 2 dogs. Muffy, the cocker spaniel who greeted people every since Carol joined the practisc, passed away in the spring of 2005. Onyx, the lab, now does her job of greeting people and hangs out at the reception area when Carol is in the hospital. Before coming to our practice, she gained experience through 15 years as business manager in the hospitality industry. She has interest in herbal products as well as gardening, horseback riding, skiing and folk art painting.
She loves to chat with clients and listen to your stories about your pets. She is the one to talk to if you have any concerns about the clinic.

Veterinary Receptionist/Technician

Jackie Corriveau
Jackie joined our team in 2003 after graduating from the Ridgetown College Veterinary Medical Office Administration Program. She was hired as a veterinary assistant and became familiar with the tecnician part of the profession. With Linda Roy moving onto future endeavors, in 2006, she is now the familiar face at our front desk. Jakcie has loved and wanted to work with animals since she was a small child. After work, she enjoys walking, spending time with her family and friends, travelling and outdoor activitis. Her family now includes Kaiden, a large German \Shepherd mix dog and Oliver, a big orange cat.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Simone VanMaar
In the fall of 2006, we had the pleasure of welcoming Simone to the practise. She attended Ridgetown College's Registered Veterinary Technician program. She has previous experience working with farm animals such as chickens, pigs and diary cows. She and her hsuband share their goat dairy farm, with one friendly cat. In 2008, they had a son, Jack. When she has time, she enjoys spending itme with family, reading and gardening.
In the clinic, you will find her mainly in the treatment area, preparing your pets for surgery as well as assisting and monitoring during the surgeries. She also assists with the treatment of animals in our care and during their exams. She enjoys making sure all the animals are well taken care of and get a good dose of tender loving care. Her other duties cover the full range of a technician's job as well as occasionally helping in the reception area.
